Choppers and Burners are now
available through Gateway Feathers. If you yearn to build your own shape
of feather then either of these two items is for you.
The chopper comes in six different shapes and five different sizes. We
also are able to make custom shapes for you. With a custom shape you send
us a drawing of the shape and size of the feather you would like and we'll
make it for you.
The blade is a special tempered steel and with proper care
the blade should never need sharpening, unless the blade is nicked. You
can cut either left or right wing feathers with these choppers and adjust
the sizes according to chart below.

The Burner is a remake of the
ageless classic Young Feather Trimmer. With this feather trimmer you will
be able to make exact duplicate cuts on each arrow by burning the feather
as it sits on the arrow. The hot wire actually burns the feather into the
shape you want. You pre-cut the size, attach the full feather piece to
the arrow and then burn the shape after all the feathers are attached.
This burner comes with a sample shape to try and 4 extra ribbons to try
new shapes.
